Capt. Joe Gonzalez has been fishing the South Florida area since his childhood. While growing up Joe spent his summers fishing in the Florida Keys and The Bahamas. He is a native to Florida and his love and passion for the sport led him to pursue this career which he started in 1987. For the next 22 years, Joe has guided fishermen from Biscayne Bay – to the Florida Keys – to Flamingo. Joe specializes in flyfishing and light tackle fishing for bonefish, permit, tarpon, redfish, snook, trout, shark, barracuda and more. We are envorinmentally-friendly, and seek to protect the beauty of Florida's coast and estuaries. Joe has worked with the University of Miami's Bonefish Research Program with tagging, acoustic telemetry, and bonefish census for years.

Capt. Joe Gonzalez is probably the most prolific bonefish tagger in the world. He is famous for tagging the bonefish that proved the migratory patterns of bonefish from Florida to the Bahamas, a record migration of 187 miles.
